Winter 2020-2021
From the CEO
Looking back on 2020, we can’t help but see a year of hardships and unprecedented events. However, I am thankful to also see 2020 as a year of growth and development. As many of us learned to work remotely and home school children, we adapted. We developed new ways of life and have been able to stay connected.
To our health care workers, there will never be enough words to thank you, for taking care of all us.
To the THIE staff, a well-deserved brag for moving our operations to a fully remote environment and never missing a beat, retaining 100% of our existing subscribers and adding over $1 million of new business to THIE.
THIE looks forward to working with you in 2021; Insurance coverage you deserve, from the insurance company you own.

AM Best Rating
We are proud to announce that A. M. Best has affirmed THIE’s rating of B++ (Good) with a stable outlook, again this year. A.M. Best assesses and assigns ratings to insurance companies based on ability to meet their ongoing insurance obligations. According to A.M. Best, THIE’s ratings reflect its balance sheet strength, categorized as strong, and its strong operating performance, limited business profile and appropriate enterprise risk management.
According to CEO Tess Frazier, “A rating of B++ recognizes the security that THIE provides to our subscribers and agents. For over 45 years, THIE has delivered excellent service to our insureds. The last ten years we have slowly and strategically began to grow and expand the organization. This growth has helped to improve our A.M. Best rating however, we could never achieve it without the support of our dedicated employees, and loyal subscribers and board members.”
