THIE's financial strength is never in question. THIE employs a conservative reinsurance strategy using two of the world's strongest reinsurers to mitigate the effect of losses on its balance sheet.

THIE has been establishing trust and serving hospitals and health care providers across the state for more than 40 years. As a reciprocal exchange, THIE is owned by its subscribers.

There's a reason THIE provides coverage for 86 percent of the non-system, small rural hospitals in Texas: We are more than an insurance company. We are a partner. When a crisis arises, we offer protection and guidance.

2017 Hot Topics Forums are in the books.

The Hot Topic forums had over 180 participates representing more than 50 hospitals who attended the two forums that THIE held in 2017. If you wish to  download the presentations you can do so here.  We would like to say thank you to all the attendees, speakers and sponsors that have made the growing success of these forums possible.  We do hope to see you all again soon and be sure to save the date of March 7-8 for the Spring Forum to be held in Lubbock.
